Children Day 2017

Children could be little mischievous but when it comes to leaving usawed with their innocence and wisdom they arenot too far down the line either.They are the purest souls we have around us. Children’s are the warmth of the sun. St.Montfort School celebrated Children’s day with joy and happiness and spread the message of love and sacrifice.To commemorate the birthday of this great visionaryPanditJawaharLal Nehru, “BalDiwas†or Children’s Day is celebrated in India every year on 14th November.
The lamp of brightness was lit by the Head boys and Head Girls of (IX-XII),(VI-VIII) and (III-V),Principal Rev. Bro. Alex, Vice Principal Rev.Bro.John Minj and the Co-ordinators, and a floral tribute was paid.
With the Blessings of God a Plethora of Programs were presented by the teachers exhibiting the dedication with which they teach as well as can entertain the children.
Rev Bro.Alex recollected and shared his childhood memories and advised the children to gain knowledge keeping the innocence in them .A heart touching vote of Thanks was proposed by the Asst. Head Boy and Asst. Head Girl as they valued and thanked each teaching and non-teaching staff’s efforts.
Finally to mark a salute to the nation the national anthem was sung in unison by the children and staff.
