St. Montfort School, Patel Nagar Primary Wing celebrated India’s 69th Republic Day on 25th January 2018. The Patriotic fervor warmed up the cold winter morning as teachers and children of the school gathered for the celebration. It is a gala day for every Indians. On 26th January 1950, the constitutions of India came into force and our country, India became the Republic. We celebrate this day as a festival every year and same happened in Montfort School, Primary wing. Students of Class II B came out with a beautifull patriotic assembly full of Indian colours and making every person feeling proud to be an Indian. They started the assembly with a Patriotic Song “SareJaha Se Aacha†in a very melodious voice. Few students dressed up as National Leaders and Freedom Fighters like Gandhiji, Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani Lakshmi Baietc and spoke their particular motto for which they stood for during the freedom struggle.
Children performed a beautiful dance through which they conveyed the spirit of unity and enthusiasm of the soldiers to protect our country and even ready to die for the country. It also conveyed that Indian Army has always won the fight against our enemies. They would not tolerate the Terrorist activities in the country and our brave soldiers were ready to fight terrorism tooth and nail.
The Principal Bro. T. Alex inspired the children with his words and congratulated them for their beautiful performance and Olympiad winners were also awarded with medals.
