Oxford University press conducted a workshop on “Effective Techniques in Teaching  English ” for primary and middle English Teachers. On 9th Dec 2017 at Hotel Nisarga. Ms.Christeen Fernandes from Primary and Mrs. Rila Dutta from Middle represented the school.
The resources person Mr. Mitali Rudra gave a valuable eye sight to the ever changing dynamics of a multicultural and heterogeneous classroom .This workshop was important for educators to discuss innovate and improvise the concepts pertaining to the subject. Stress was made to decrease –Teachers centered teaching and increase student centered learning time. She also stressed on the point that language teachers should not be crippled with book –based knowledge rather we should encourage the children to think out of the box.
