17th October 2017 was an auspicious and a joyful occasion for all the Montfortians.
The students and staff celebrated Diwali and extended special birthday wishes to their dear Vice-Principal Rev. Bro. John Minj.
The students presented a colourful dance drama depicting the importance of the five days of Diwali rituals and what each day stands for. They also brought out the real values under lining the festivities. The studentstook a pledge to celebrate a green and clean Diwali by saying
‘NO’ to crackers. They also presented a special birthday dance wishing Bro. John.
Principal Rev. Bro. Alexgave Bro. John warm birthdaywishes and handed him a lovely bouquet of flowers.Bro. Alex wished everyonea warm and prosperous happy Diwali and advised the students to imbibe in them the values that the festival stands for. He asked them to spread love and to pray for the prosperity of each individual of our country.He emphasized that the students and staff should celebrate the festival in the most ecofriendly manner.
He gave his blessings andwished them a safe Diwali vacation.
