An Autonomous body under ministry of Information and Broadcasting has organized a film bonanza for the children to create a social awareness among the children. Institute of Social Research and Development (ISRD) Bhopal in collaboration with centre for youth Development and activities (CYDA) Pune, organized a film bonanza in Bhopal for the children from 17 Aug to 24 Aug 2017.

The Special guest for the occasion were Dr. Raghuvendra Sharma, Commissioner State Child Right, Mr. Francis P. Anthony ISRD, Bhopal Director and child artist Vaibhav Sharma from Delhi University, a writer,actor and a singer.Our very own child artist of Bhopal, Siddhi Malviyafrom St.Joseph’s Co-ed school.She has also worked in Crime Patrol,Savdhan India. She was also a part of Kapil Sharma Show, and also presently working in reality show “Sabsebadakalakar”.Rev Bro. Alex welcomed the distinguished guests and advised the children to work on the path of humanity.The guests advised the children to aspire to become good human beings besides attaining the educational qualification.  The free screening of children’s film was held at St.Montfort School, Bhopal on 24th Aug 2017.The children of Std 7 and 8 viewed the movie “YehHaiChakkadBakkadBumbeBoo” directed by Sridhar Rangayan. The message of the moviewas how the children can accompany their work with unity and at the same time have fun. They also learn not to make any distinction of gender as each can handle their work efficiently.

 The Film “Happy Mother’s Day” was screened for the students of IX to XI.The theme of the movie was how a child from a poor family arranges a gift for his mother as he wanted to express his love to his mother for the effort she takes for her child.
