On 3rd July 2017 St.Montfort school Celebrated Vanmahotsav and Birthday of Our Headmistress"Sr.kripa".We started our programme with a school prayer and then it was time for celebrating
the Birthday of Sr.Kripa and the other Tiny tauts.The little children presented a beautiful Dance and Birthday song, students from each classes wished sister with bouquet and greeting cards. After this
Celebration class II students conducted a meaningful assembly on VanMahotsav".It is an annual tree planting festival in India celebrated in 1st week of July.In order to signify the aforesaid relationship and to strengthen this bond of ours with the environment. The children spoke on the importance of trees in our life and gave the message of “PLANT A TREE TODAY MAKE THE LIFE OF THE EARTH MUCH LONGER.â€
A prominent message that Mother Nature has enough of our needs but not for our greed was also presented and that Mother Nature has great importance in our lives.An inspirational poetry
On trees was also recited by 2nd class students.
The principal of St.Montfort School Rev.Bro.T.Alex appreciated the programme and spoke on the importance and relevance of the theme.He also encouraged the students to plant trees and not just to plant but to ensure that it grows well and it is properly nurtured. Two children from each class brought sapling and planted it in the garden.
Overall the assembly was meaningful and motivated everyone to plant more and more trees.
