“Christmas is a necessity. There has to be at least one day of the year to remind us that we’re here for something else beside ourselves”
Making the children understand this attribute, a one day Community Service by 200 students of class X, was organized at St. Montfort School, Sr. Secondary School on 18 December, 2018 under the guidance of Rev. Br. Monachan Principal St. Montfort School, Rev-Br. John Minj , Vice Principal , for the Hindi Medium students  of St. Montfort School , who are  from poor and needy  backgrounds, an extension of St. Montfort School, Bhopal.
In this community service all the students of class X took active part. They all participated actively and whole heartedly for this noble cause. They organized different games, literary and cultural activitiesfor Hindi Medium Students. Art and craft classes were also held. Not only this, student’s also sponsored & shared refreshments and gifts for those children.
The purpose behind this community Service was to spread the message of love, compassion, mercy, peace, benevolence, forbearance and brotherhood remembering that Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and family and to create memories that will last forever. “Service to man is service to God” was brought out clearly through this Community Service Programme.
