Mother child activity day was organised in St. Montfort Kindergarten on 30th and 31st Oct.2018 for the kids and mother of Nursery, KG.I, KG.II.
Mother child activity was initiated by remembering God almighty through a short prayer and the programme was enlighted by lighting of lamp. The Principal of the School Rev. Brother MonachanK.K , introduced the purpose of the gathering and addressed the parents for the first time, motivated and encouraged them to have a great day.
We had number of activities like Dance, fashion show, fireless cooking, best out of waste, games in which both the mother and the child co-ordinated accordingly with full enthusiasm.
Basically dance, fashion show was judged on the basis of co-ordination, expression among the child and the mother.
The mother and child participated and showed their full confidence and grace while dancing. Some way during the fashion show, both the mother and child were so well dressed and walked on the ramp and they confidently answered the questions which was asked by the judges.
During the session of fireless cooking mother and the child became the master chef’s and the cooking was done with co-ordination and was presented in an innovative way.
Other activities like Best out of waste, chart making, Rangoli was done with full dedication in a colourful way. Before the games we had a session by Mrs. ShraddhaBalwani, the counsellor of St. Montfort School in which she had given many tips for the mothers in good parenting and how important is their contribution in building up the personality of their child.
There were 2 games i.e tie the balloon and musical chair in which the mothers were participating with full energy and true spirit of a sports man with her child.
Last but not the least for the ever lasting memory of child and the mother palm printing was done by the mother and child.
Winners were appreciated with prizes and the programme was successfully conducted and achieved its purpose under the guidance of Principal, Headmistress and the effort and hardwork of all the staff involved in it.
