To make the students understand the Parliamentary procedure and develop an insight into the Parliament working, toinculcatein them the spirit of discipline, respect and tolerance for the views of others and to create leadership quality, ‘’Student Parliament 2018’’ was organized by the Social Science club which was held on 8th Oct.2018 in the school premises during the activity period.
Students of class X participated in the presentation of Mock Parliament exhibiting their talent and enthusiasm which appeared similar to a Parliament in session under the able guidance of the teachers and the Principal Rev. Bro. Monachan.
Two sections after the semifinal round of class X presented as  ruling (X B) and as opposition (X A) parties, who debated on a very practical current issue ‘’How far the technology has changed the natural thinking of people in the society?’’ Both the teams participated by raising interesting questions and debating on issuesrelated to technology in the field of education, health, industries, tourism etc.
The performance and effort of the students and the support of the management in making the programme was a grand success and was appreciable.
