A career orientation program was hosted at St.Montfort school on 25 of July 2018 for students of commerce stream of class XI &XII  by Mr.SudhanshuShrivas (Ex-Student Batch 2012-13) and Mr. NikunjMaheshwari(Ex-Studentof Batch 2016-17).

At the flourishing age of 16-17, when choices become decision, independence becomes a trend and confusion becomes problem, life becomes relatively easier if there is someone who could mentor them at such crucial juncture. Moreover, at this age, elders and teachers become an object of aversion; they need someone who could match their wavelength and talk to them in a manner they could relate to. The session was held, with special emphasis on different professional career choices and also was intended to create a friendly environment, where in, students could participate in the discussion and their queries could be addressed. This was done with a view to enable students to make an informed career choice.

To ease up the challenges of making better career choices, Sudhanshu and Nikunj, spoke about various professional courses like ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CPA, etc. and competitive exams which could be pursued by them post their high school. They also gave them the information of the possible upcoming sought-after professionals in the market. Speaker shared their wide experience of both industry and academics and the words of guidance proved to be the master stroke for many students. Students were also advised on their approach towards upcoming board exams. The session ended with the speaker talking about living life for higher purpose and striving for “Excellence and Achievement”.on school motto.

The session boosted the morale of many students and a positive vibe was set in their minds. Students benefited tremendously from this session and their engagement with the speaker proved to be an excellent platform to make strong and intelligent decisions for their careers. The session ended on a winning note.
