On 1st October 2016, St.Montfort school, Bhopal had organized an all-religion prayer and celebration of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bhadur Shashtri’s Birthday which was full of spirit, values and thoughts. The celebration started with lightening of lamp and floral tribute to Gandhiji and Lal bhadur Shastriji ,followed by an enactment done by the tiny tots of classes 3rd to 5th which depicted Gandhian principals and values of life, that filled every one’s hearts with patriotism .The enactment made the students aware about the contributions made by Gandhiji, the “Father of Nation ” An all religion prayer was also conducted by Scouts and Guide students and teachers of school .The all -religion prayer, had the spirit of togetherness and unity. The “Sarvadharam prayer”and enactment gave the message of leading a pious life. In his speech principal Rev Brother Alex said that prayer is an important source of communication between God and us. He said that everyone should give a little time to pray and to thank God for the bounties that He showered on us. Programme concluded with National Anthem.
