Seminar for Digital Wellbeing and Career Choices
From 2nd July to 7th July, the students from Grades VI to X attended an exclusive seminar organised at the auditorium of St. Montfort school, Bhopal, organized by Dr. Bro. George Palackal, an educator, psychologist and global missionary leader who has been working on Career Counselling and Mobile Addiction in teens.
It commenced with an address by Principal Rev. Brother Monachan K. K., who emphasized the importance of deliberate career planning and the maintenance of students’ digital well being. The seminar, structured into six systematic sessions, addressed career planning, time management, and physical well being.
The seminar used activities (poster challenge, "Digital Life vs Real Life," quiz, reflections, personality assessments) and short physical interludes to foster self-analysis and teamwork. Students learned study-based career-planning techniques; an online recap quiz assessed their understanding. It ended with a student-led pledge on physical health and digital well being.
The seminar summed up with a Vote of Thanks addressed by a Senior Student to the Guest, teachers, students and the organising committee.
