Introduction to GST.
On 20th December 2018, our School organized a seminar in the school auditorium for sensitizing students to GST reg. by NAC IN Zonal camps Bhopal on Taxation System in India, Comprising states of M.P & Chhattisgarh for classes IX & XI.
National Academy of customs, Indirect taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) is the Apex institution of Govt. of India for capacity building of civil servants in the field of indirect taxation specially in the areas of customs GST and narcotics control.
Mr.Prabhatkumar Sharma, Deputy Director (NACIN) and Mrs. Jincy James Inspector (NACIN) for the past one year are working and are engaged in training the officers, members of trade and industry on GST. The resource persons threw light on the fact that GST Seeks to put in place a simpler, technology driven tax regime that facilitates ease of compliance from business.
Over 400 students and teachers attended this seminar and were benefited from this. The seminar concluded with an interactive session wherein student’s queries were answered.
The session was indeed a fruitful one.
